110 करोड़ की लागत से इसका विस्तार 5.68 किमी करने का प्रस्ताव है, जिससे यहां 24 घंटे में 1.78 करोड़ श्रद्धालु पहुंच सकेंगे। वहीं, 2.5 किमी का अस्थायी घाट बनाने का भी प्रस्ताव है। कुंभ में 78.38 किमी अस्थायी सड़क निर्माण और 22 अस्थायी पुलों के निर्माण के लिए 80 करोड़ बजट की मांग रखी गई है।
इसी प्रकार, वर्तमान में कुंभ क्षेत्र में पानी की उपलब्धता 132 एमएलडी है जबकि मांग 164 एमएलडी की है। बाकी 32 एमएलडी के लिए 17 ट्यूबवेल, तीन ओवरहेड टैंक, 50.50 किमी पाइपलाइन बदलने, 49 फायर हाइड्रेंट लगाए जाएंगे। इसके लिए 99.25 करोड़ बजट मांगा गया है। वहीं, 220 किमी अस्थायी पाइपलाइन बिछाने, 3000 पब्लिक स्टैंड पोस्ट बनाने, 300 अस्थायी फायर हाइड्रेंट बनाने के लिए 56.37 करोड़ बजट की मांग की गई है।
